Hiukka Beach
Already decades ago well-known, several kilometres long Hiukka beach is located in the middle of the Sotkamo town centre.
It is a suitable swimming spot for the whole family, because the shore of Sapsojärvi is shallow, and the bottom of the lake is fine sand. There are also a grill kiosk/summer café, and toilet and shower facilities at the beach. The famous Sotkamo baseball stadium is located right next to the beach.
