Self-service library
The library started providing self-service mornings on 15th February 2022. The library doors are open, but there is no customer service at self-service hours. You can borrow and return independently at a self-service kiosk, which we have one on each floor.
To borrow material, you will need a PIN code. If you don’t have it, you can get it from the customer service desk. No PIN code or library card is needed for returning a loan. Returned items should not be left on the service counter during self-service hours! Self-service times are from Monday to Friday 9 am to 12 pm, Saturday and days before religious holidays 9am to 10am.
During self-service time you can:
- return material at self-service kiosk: the kiosk will guide you
- interlibrary loans can be dropped straight into the return box, because the kiosk does not recognise their barcodesmaton
- collect reservations and borrow them and other material at the self-service kioskodes
- use the customer computer, but printing is not possible. NB: you will need your library card and a PIN code to log in the customer computers.
Interlibrary loans can not be picked up during self-service hours. They must be collected from the personnel during service hours.
There are personnel present at self-service hours, and we provide assistance when needed. However, there will not be duty at the customer service counter during self-service hours.
